Shiatsu Diffusion Society (SDS) News
A Message from SDS Chairperson Laura Barkman To all
SDS Members:
We have been working over the past few months to
get Benefit Insurance
coverage for our members. George Keramaris is
working with different companies to get the best
coverage for us. In order to speed this
process and get the best prices for our members,
please
take the time to fill out the survey put out
on the website by George at: http://www.preventativehealthservices.com/extended.html.
You can either send it back to me or directly
to George. You can also bring it to our next SDS
meeting which is on July 24,
at 10:00 a.m.
at the Shiatsu Academy of Tokyo. We are hoping
to
meet the number of 150 members to fill our this
survey. Below, you will find George’s
letter (directly from the website). Thank you
everyone for your participation.
EXTENDED COVERAGE (INSURANCE
SURVEY)
Dear members, Over the past two
years that the insurance program has been running,
many of you have asked us to look for a plan that covers
our own personal health benefits.
For the past six months, we have been working with
an insurance broker to negotiate such a program. Please
see the attached survey for various
options that we have made available that the cost.
The cost for each benefit is approximate. The insurance
company will decide which benefits
it will provide and the exact cost according to our
response. To determine the level of interest in this
program, we would appreciate if you
took a few moments to fill out our survey and return
it to me by e-mail or mail. To download the survey,
go to the link below. We need 150
practitioners to initiate the program. If you have
any questions, please call me at 416-423-2765 or e-mail
me at: george@preventativehealthservices.com
Sincerely
yours,
George Keramaris
